A Pale Portrait of A Ghost

by Hitwood

/
1.
oh, For so long I feel betrayed I have no purpose to fight these days This hate flow in my veins I don’t want to see any face A routine that makes me mad An oblivion without end Judgement day, for the fallen ones The ones who fight this cancer Trapped here, in the infinity Could you help me to find the exit? Could you help me to find the exit? Then sometimes I caught me to envy My past life and hope for changes I know tomorrow will be served to me in the same exact events But i’m only a pale portrait of a ghost That i can’t expose to their eyes God why you throw me all of this weight upon me? The evil that’s in me becomes stronger if feed by hate Detestation surrounds me Ask yourself why i’m here I’m Above you all I’m the wolf you’ve constantly feeded Judgement day, I’m the fallen one the one who fight this cancer Trapped here, in my same feel Could I help you to find the entrance? Could I help you to find the entrance? Then sometimes I caught you to envy Your past life and hope for changes I know tomorrow will be served to you in my same exact events So i’m only a pale portrait of a ghost That i can’t expose to their eyes God why you throw me all of this weight upon me? Bring me back, my innate confidence Then Show me ways to re-find my inner self Guide me to the secret places Mentioned by books and tales I thought I could heal I thought I could find the cure to erase this feel So i’m only a pale portrait of a ghost That i can’t expose to their eyes God why you throw me all of this weight upon me? I’m only a pale portrait of a ghost That i can’t expose to their eyes God why you throw me all of this weight upon me? I’m only a pale portrait of a ghost! God why you constantly throw this weight upon me?

about

In this chapter, the old man Hitwood fights with his internal demons . The artwork represents the two sides of his personality separated by a river. This song is about the everyday routine of our lives, the feeling about our shoulders that was always "overcharged" by a divine entity and the sensation of feeling trapped in a invisible cage much bigger than us
