about

Story behind "My path to nowhere": this song is about #hitwood and his thoughts before the day since it find himself trapped in a dream. Tired of his tragedies he begin to wander in search of the purpose of life and his recurrent question is if only him was the one that feel that insurmontable weight on his shoulders; if he's the only one that sees that loss of morals of the society...so he begins to think that if no one feel the same way, he could probably descend from holy gods.."as I wish to descend from holy gods, amen". The sound was probably really inspired by bands like #heavenshallburn and I choose this as the first single not because is the best song of the EP but because this is the prologue of all Hitwood storyline. The chorus is really explosive and to be our first song with vocals I'm really proud of how it turned out, really catchy and memorable and that guitar solo hit you in the deep

lyrics

As you want it, as you want it now
since the time, it all comes down
What’s the meaning? You're falling down
Tell me what is the purpose of your life?

Want to know! make you known! Lights on!
Lesson learned! Carry on! Armor!

In this life you have to proclaim your goal
You only want to spend much more time

Want to know! make you known! Lights on!
Lesson learned! Carry on! Armor!

And you wander…to say goodbye!
You will crawling…to built your life!

As I wish to descend…from holy gods, amen
Perpetual contemplate, this path to nowhere

Where they go, what they gonna think?
since that day, I will not care
they remain emotionless
evil buildings of people mistakes

In this life you have to stand your ground
You only wish to have much more time

Want to know! make you known! Lights on!
Lesson learned! Carry on! Armor!

And you wander…to say goodbye!
You will crawling…to built your life!

As I wish to descend…from holy gods, amen
Perpetual contemplate, this path to nowhere

[guitar solo]

And you wander…to say goodbye!
You will crawling…to built your life!

As I wish to descend…from holy gods, amen
Perpetual contemplate, this path to nowhere
Wandering lonely through these lands …memories comes to my head
Traveling night and day to reach that place where gods stands
